Does the thought of going on a job interview cause your palms to sweat and your body to break out in hives? Stop itching; you're not alone.

The vast majority of job seekers admit to emotions ranging from mild uneasiness to downright panic leading up to their interviews. The good news is there have been no reported cases of job seekers who died of nervousness during a job interview. So relax and follow these simple tips for keeping your anxiety at bay before and during your interview.
First, take the proper amount of time to prepare for your interview. Being well-prepared will boost your confidence and lower your anxiety. Experts recommend that you spend at least three hours preparing for each interview.

You should draft answers to the most common interview questions and practice speaking them out loud. You also should read up on the company with which you will be interviewing and prepare some questions of your own. This lets the interviewer know that you are truly interested in the company and the position.

As a final step in your preparation, make sure you have good directions to the interview site. Some job seekers make a dry run to the interview site to ensure the directions are correct and to estimate the amount of time they will need to get to the interview on time.

Going into a job interview is often like entering the great unknown. Although every interviewer is different and questions vary from industry to industry, there are some questions that are common across the board. Reading through the following questions and developing your own answers is a good place to start in your preparation. Once you have done that, remember practice makes perfect! Nothing impresses a potential employer like being ready for whatever is thrown your way.

Why should we hire you?

Here's the chance to really sell yourself. You need to briefly and succinctly lay out your strengths, qualifications and what you can bring to the table. Be careful not to answer this question too generically, however. Nearly everyone says they are hardworking and motivated. Set yourself apart by telling the interviewer about qualities that are unique to you.

Why do you want to work here?

This is one tool interviewers use to see if you have done your homework. You should never attend an interview unless you know about the company, its direction and the industry in which it plays. If you have done your research, this question gives you an opportunity to show initiative and demonstrate how your experience and qualifications match the company's needs.

What are your greatest weaknesses?

The secret to answering this question is being honest about a weakness, but demonstrating how you have turned it into a strength. For example, if you had a problem with organization in the past, demonstrate the steps you took to more effectively keep yourself on track. This will show that you have the ability to recognize aspects of yourself that need improvement, and the initiative to make yourself better.

Why did you leave your last job?

Even if your last job ended badly, be careful about being negative in answering this question. Be as diplomatic as possible. If you do point out negative aspects of your last job, find some positives to mention as well. Complaining endlessly about your last company will not say much for your attitude.

Describe a problem situation and how you solved it.

Sometimes it is hard to come up with a response to this request, particularly if you are coming straight from college and do not have professional experience. Interviewers want to see that you can think critically and develop solutions, regardless of what kind of issue you faced. Even if your problem was not having enough time to study, describe the steps you took to prioritize your schedule. This will demonstrate that you are responsible and can think through situations on your own.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

The secret to this question is being specific and selecting an accomplishment that relates to the position. Even if your greatest accomplishment is being on a championship high school basketball team, opt for a more professionally relevant accomplishment. Think of the qualities the company is looking for and develop an example that demonstrates how you can meet the company's needs.
What are your salary expectations?

This is one of the hardest questions, particularly for those with little experience. The first thing to do before going to your interview is to research the salary range in your field to get an idea of what you should be making. Steer clear of discussing salary specifics before receiving a job offer. Let the interviewer know that you will be open to discussing fair compensation when the time comes. If pressed for a more specific answer, always give a range, rather than a specific number.

Tell me about yourself.

While this query seems like a piece of cake, it is difficult to answer because it is so broad. The important thing to know is that the interviewer typically does not want to know about your hometown or what you do on the weekends. He or she is trying to figure you out professionally. Pick a couple of points about yourself, your professional experience and your career goals and stick to those points. Wrap up your answer by bringing up your desire to be a part of the company. If you have a solid response prepared for this question, it can lead your conversation in a direction that allows you to elaborate on your qualifications.

Properly filling out an application form is a vital step in the hiring process – yet too many applicants see it as a repetitious waste of time. That attitude can be costly. Savvy job seekers understand the importance of completing all required paperwork neatly, completely and accurately.

Remember, applications give employers their first glimpse into your character and the sort of work you are likely to perform. A neat application indicates you care about your self-presentation. A complete application demonstrates that you pay attention to details, follow directions, and are not satisfied until the job is well done. A form that provides accurate information shows that you can be trusted to get the job done right.
For all civil service employment – county, state and federal – applications are the number-one screening device. Based on the information provided and the manner in which the form is completed, the employer decides whether to call you for an interview.

In private industry, the resume is most often utilized as a screening tool; however, completion of the application is typically required either before the interview or before a job offer is made.
Facts in Hand:
Your fact sheet should include personal information: your Social Security and driver’s license numbers, previous employment (dates are important) and education history including elementary and high school. You should also have names and numbers for personal and professional references. Having this information with you can eliminate scratched out errors, misspellings and inconsistent information.
A small pocket dictionary may prove invaluable if you are asked to write additional information. Sloppy spelling can undermine your best efforts.

Ansel Petrovich, staffing director at USAA Insurance Company, has their applicants write a paragraph describing future goals. This allows USAA’s screening committee to assess writing skills before the interview. Many companies use this technique or ask candidates to write answers to a series of pre-interview questions.
It also pays to do your homework when it comes to salaries. You should know in advance the salary range offered for the position you seek. You can often deduce this information through newspaper ads or by talking with someone doing the same type of work, hopefully at the target company. Having these facts will help you avoid under or overpricing yourself on the question "salary expected."

Apply these guidelines:

Surveys have shown that close to 50 percent of the applications submitted are screened out. But by following a few basic rules, you can ensure that yours does not become a part of this statistic.
  • Read the application form carefully before beginning and follow all of the instructions.
  • Answer all questions. Never leave a blank space; if not applicable, enter N/A.
  • Always be specific in the type of work desired. Never list "general work" or "anything."
  • Be sure to enter a telephone number (cell or message) where you can be reached at all times. If you have a "cutesy saying" on your answering machine, it should be changed for the duration of your job search.
  • Be sure to enter first and last name in the order requested.
  • Fill out the application in black ink (blue ink does not copy as well). Print if your handwriting is poor.
  • Be specific but brief in your past job descriptions. Do not put "see resume."
  • Stress the important skills you have to get the job done. The space to describe former job duties is usually very limited, so utilize as many action words as possible: speed, accuracy, dexterity, flexibility, technical know-how, etc.
  • Clearly but briefly describe the scope of your responsibilities.
  • Avoid abbreviations or acronyms.
  • Briefly state the unusual aspects of your past jobs.
  • Know names, telephone numbers and addresses of previous employers.
  • Know the dates you worked and the salaries you received.
  • Know what schools you attended, giving location and dates.
  • Give the name, address and telephone number of at least three personal references (should not be former employers).
When furnishing references, get permission before listing names; do not list a name of an individual who might provide a poor reference. Make sure the names, addresses and telephone numbers of references are correct.
Finally, accuracy and honesty are essential. Distortions on your application form can catch up with you and ultimately cost you your job. Sylvia Mata, recruitment director at Los Rios Community College District, confirms that employees have been dismissed due to inaccurate information on their application form.
All because someone treated the application form carelessly. Remember, that piece of paper is a reflection of you. Make sure it projects an image you can be proud of.

I find people often wait until they are middle aged and go through the horrific experience of job burn out, from doing a job that they were never created to do, before they start looking at making some changes. But not always.

Sometimes I come across a person who tells me a story that does my heart good. I was speaking with a young woman the other day who had taken the initiative early. She had trained as an auditor and was doing well in her job, but it didn't really feel right for her. She looked around at all of the other auditors and saw what had become of the ones that obviously didn't really enjoy it. The ones that had been doing the job for years and had just got "stuck" there, miserable and grumpy!

She suddenly realised that if she didn't make some changes, and soon, she would end up just like them. Grumpy and Miserable! Now she's working in recruitment and loving it! It took courage, but she made the leap and is now reaping the rewards. She decided that even though she had spent years and loads of money training to be an auditor, it would cost her a lot more in her future happiness if she stuck with it.

But you know, I think a lot of people don't think they deserve to happy. They probably wouldn't admit it, but deep down, I'm sure that's what they must think. How else would you explain the fact that so many people end up
being stuck in dead end jobs that they hate? Why would they put themselves through that day after day after day, if they truly thought that they deserved better? Why would they continue to towards job burn out.
Unless people have a healthy self-esteem and a sense of their own uniqueness, they aren't going to have the ability to do what needs to be done to get happy and to avoid the dreaded job burn out!

Maybe there is a little voice inside of them, way down in their subconscious that is telling them lies. Telling them they don't deserve any better. Maybe they have been comparing themselves unfavorably to other people.
The best thing that I have found to help get your self-talk sorted into a more positive dialogue, is finding out who you really are. Career success begins with knowing yourself. When you realise that you are truly unique, that you weren't made exactly the same as anyone else and begin to explore this reality, it is such an incredibly freeing experience. Myers Briggs Type indicator is one way that people find very eye-opening towards finding out who they are and what makes them tick. There are lots of other assessments available. Coaching
can help you explore this subject in a confidential and safe environment. A good starting point could be to ask somebody who knows you well to tell you how they would describe you. That can be a very interesting exercise.
I hope you aren't making the same mistake that so many make and that is trying to be somebody that you are not. Remember that career success begins with knowing yourself, it really does. The best thing that anyone can do while looking at their career path is to be honest with themselves about who they really are and then move towards career success by utilising this knowledge.

blood tests and skin samples. The samples are scrutinized under
a microscope for exact diagnosis. After diagnosing the nature of

surgery or radiotherapy.

Nowadays dermatologists are more associated with performing
high-end cosmetic techniques or surgeries on the skin for
various beautification processes.

Career options for dermatologists:

practice.

They may even take up positions as professors, teaching faculty,
supervisors or research heads in their specialized fields.

Private practitioners may opt for specialized dermatologist’s
courses in pediatric and cosmetic dermatology.

Job & Salary

Those who want to opt for a dermatologist career must have a
bachelor’s degree and a M.D degree from any recognized medical
school.

Also future dermatologists must compulsorily pass the three
stages of fellowship, internship and residency, if they want to
begin a proper practice.

The basic mandatory requirement for dermatology practice in US
may need an American Citizen, diploma in dermatology, complete
certification with registrations that entails one to authorize
free practice as a dermatologist in US.

The average salary for a dermatologist in US is around $2,
26,225 on a yearly basis according to current market analysis
report collected from numerous human resource departments all
over US.

Many dermatologists are smart enough to juggle 2 careers at the
same time-one as a regular physician and as a cosmetic medical
expert. The job and salary expectations depend on your own
latest skills as a dermatologist, experience, the mode of
practice i.e. public or private; a dermatologist salary is
interdependent on all these factors. Those abreast with the
latest treatment courses such as botox, laser peel, re-firming
skin, foto-facial, etc definitely have more chance of heavier
pay-scale.

Even the place of practice may intervene with the pay scale. For
example, in places like New York, California and Florida, the
dermatologist pay scale may be anywhere between 1, 60,000 to 2,
50,000 dollars.

All those aspiring dermatologists may search online for more

Many people have strange perceptions regarding a forensic nurse.
They generally associate a forensic nurse with dead bodies,

The term 'forensic' is defined as concerning the law, legal.
While many forensic nurses are trained for death investigations,
many of them are taught to deal patients who are the survivors
of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and many other
violent forms of trauma. Forensic nurses vary in experience.
Like some of them have experience in emergency departments, care
or women health nursing. Forensic nurses having psychiatric
training have to work with the mentally affected individuals in
the special institutions for the psychiatric patients.

These nurses are exposed to advanced training in traumatic
identification of wounds, which includes skills to recognize
prototype injuries and injuries in the healing process. These
nurses also develop skills in the documentation procedures which
are generally photographic. Plus, they also have to excel in the
techniques of effectively testifying the evidences in the

waiting for them in the form of specialists as consultants,
clinicians, examiners and educators.

fields.

A forensic clinical specialist assists the victims by providing
them with both medical as well as emotional treatments.

A forensic investigator nurse has to be present at the crime
scene to collect the major evidences like collecting blood
samples, tissue samples and other related and suspicious

A death investigator nurse has to come up with the approximate
time of death and has to investigate the best possible reasons
for the death. If the nurse has experienced the massive
